I recently finished Growth Hacker Marketing
What is Growth Hacking?
The terms “Growth Hacking” and “Growth Hacker” are being thrown around all willy-nilly lately (Yes, I say willy-nilly. Get over yourself lol).
You’re seeing it too, right? How many “Growth Hackers” have followed you on Twitter within the last month? They’re everywhere and you know what? Neither do they, that’s the point. Most of them anyway.
By the way, if you're having a tough time following my train of thought, stay up 36 hours straight and then read this again. That way we'll be on the same sheet of music and it will all make sense to you.
The Book – Growth Hacker Marketing: A Primer on the Future of PR, Marketing, and Advertising
So Ryan Holiday lays Growth Hacking out on the table, naked but with no shame, and it doesn’t get any sexier than that. You’ll learn how traditional marketing is so completely outdated that the very definition of marketing needs an overhaul.
See how startups like Facebook, Twitter, Uber, Airbnb, Dropbox, Pinterest, AirBnb, and Evernote understood that traditional marketing would mean high risk, slow growth, and had the stale odor of old sweaters, filterless cigarettes, and cheap cologne.
Not only does traditional marketing stink, it’s also very expensive and hard to track. Growth Hacking focuses on results, data, user input, testing, fast pivots, and doing more with less; much more with much less.
Ryan spares us the boring, indepth details and serves up dozens of real life examples along with the reasoning and strategy behind their success.
Lastly, Ryan Holiday has the talent to break it down so anyone can see both how and why Growth Hacking works. Ryan stretches his hand out from his golden robe, deep into the clouds, and clears the haze with the wave of his hand so we can all, finally, see the light. Hey, remember the sleep deprivation? lol

Here’s the five-star rating and review I left on Audible:
My head is spinning! – Talking about the “Wow Factor“, Ryan Holiday just blew me away with is one. Growth Hacker Marketing just moved into one of my most recommended books. If you’ve been spinning your wheels like many of us with our online businesses, drop everything and let this book help you understand where you’ve been falling short. ~ Brian D. Hawkins
