I ran across this little funny today while searching for something on Presearch.
I hate to admit it, but I was searching for Vista Print to see about some business cards and my ancient brain made me type “Alta Vista” into the search box.
Anyway, Alta Vista was a popular search engine back before Google hit the scene and sort of took over the world. Yahoo! bought Alta Vista in 2003 and here we are today, 19-years later and the search description for Alta Vista is;
Will be right back… Thank you for your patience. Our engineers are working quickly to resolve the issue.
That’s actually pretty funny.
Anyway, I just wanted to share that with you. Now back to looking into business cards. I’m thinking something like, “The personal blog of Brian D. Hawkins – because I have a lot to say.“
A couple of runners-up were:
“The Truth May Set You Free, but
I’m Going To Hurt Your Feelings“
and
“I am the most quoted person on my blog.“
Bye now, Brian
