Twitter Deleted Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Account – Why You Should Care – Commentary

It’s all over the news today, with both left and right slants, that Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene’s personal Twitter account has been permanently suspended for violating the social media monster’s COVID-19 misinformation policy. Hogwash.

In this commentary piece, I’ll share my opinion on the real implications of social media platforms’ actions, such as this and many others, against free speech.

Then I’ll leave it to you to form your own opinions. As I mentioned, it’s only my opinion – which I have many, and I ain’t afraid to share them ’cause I’m a blogging superhero. Deal with it.

As the distinction between government and the media companies, both mainstream and social media, becomes more and more blurred, we’re witnessing a re-labeling, of sorts, as far as what’s news, truth, and, ultimately, the press.

Today’s press (It ain’t free anymore), left and right, are mere big business with an agenda and everyone knows it. That’s not even up for debate.

The Facebooks, Twitters, and Googles of the World are an even bigger business, with more control over the population than there has ever been – and they don’t even try to hide their agendas.

Some might argue that the big-tech social media companies are replacing mainstream media.

That’s not true at all.

Mainstream media may seem like small potatoes to the new giants on the silicon valley block but they still yield a lot of power.

Both are in bed, at least whenever it helps both parties, with the US government. I picture it as a nasty orgy rather than a smoky room and everyone has a latte instead of a cigar.

Evil is evil, no matter the image.

Twitter argues, time and time again, they don’t control or own the content THEY publish from their member’s posts, tweets, etc. They just provide the platform, their users provide the content.

Put aside that Twitter and the rest of the socialistic media companies are doing their best to control that very content, playing big daddy.

If it’s the user’s content providing the news, can’t the argument be made that it’s the users that are slowly replacing, or at least competing with, mainstream media?

Think of all the cellphone cameras, blogs, and social media accounts out there. You can’t fart in a field today without someone getting it on video.

If left to mainstream media, you’d be persecuted for contributing to climate change until the government brought you up on charges. I’ll take farting on TicToc all day long if it means not being slapped around by the New York Times, CNN, or Fox.

If that’s the case, there’s an inherent danger in allowing big businesses to control what the media is allowed and banned from reporting.

Am I right?

So Twitter, Facebook, Amazon, Google, and the rest ARE controlling the news and information YOU receive by controlling what YOU are allowed to report.

What Google, Apple, and Amazon did to their competition, Parler, was criminal and people should have gone to jail for that kind of attack. Yet everyone snickered and quietly moved on hoping they wouldn’t be next in line for a spanking. Disgusting.

Sure, we cannot have the government going around dictating what can and can’t be done within privately-owned businesses 🤣, but there IS a massive shift in power going on right now and it’s not looking good for freedom and liberty.

Riddle me this Batman. Why is it that whenever an account is punished or removed, it is always a right-leaning message or messenger? Does that even make sense?

While the reason Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Twitter account has been permanently suspended is irrelevant to what I’m trying to get across today, I feel I should address it a little.

I mean, MTG is in the title, let’s give you a little respect. (More respect than Wikipedia is giving her by identifying her as an “American politician, businesswoman, and far-right conspiracy theorist“.

Anyway, yesterday (Saturday), Representative Greene, on her private Twitter account, tweeted about an extremely high number of Covid vaccine deaths. She sourced the information from the government’s own database, the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) (PDF Download).

Earlier in August, Twitter gave her a fourth strike when she tweeted that the vaccines were “failing.” Obviously, The vaccines are NOT failing since getting all three doses doesn’t stop anyone from getting covid or from spreading the disease to others – whether they have been vaccinated or not.

Stop rocking the boat MTG.

What was she thinking? We’re dealing with morons today that got ribbons and trophies as children for failing. After all, we’d hate to give the covid a complex or something. If they were too old for those feel-good rewards, they probably played a role in those damaging policies.

And we certainly don’t want to stop the billions of profits or the government’s fear-based success in controlling the masses like never before in history.

I hate to even keep going with this because, as I mentioned, it doesn’t matter, but the representative’s third strike by Twitter was from tweeting that covid was not dangerous and that vaccines should not be mandated.

Of course, that was taken out of context and there definitely should not be mandates right now. Oh no, should I be stricken from the internet for voicing my opinion?

I hope I made some sense in this opinion piece of … and wasn’t all over the map to the point you couldn’t take it all in. It’s an important issue, and we’re in the midst of a turning point that will define this country and the world for many years to come. But hey, don’t let it get in the way of your TicToc time.

I’m done, Brian

You nailed it. Sorry it will be Algored-erithum. We all have a role in this. Wait for a non fiction book about Escaping the City, we are bait!! They feed us little bits to keep us happy. Majority does not care about what they say, actions speak louder than words.

I think they’re getting bolder and even more arrogant and pretty soon no one will worry about keeping the masses happy. We’re on the edge of a breaking point, and it won’t be pretty. I have a post in draft on how they’re even changing history to feed a criminal agenda.
