Weekly News Roundup #45 is curated by links to news stories and interesting articles I read from November 7th through November 13th, 2021. Now I’m sharing those reads with you. We call this ‘curated content‘ or curated news.
Each week in our This Week In The News series, I take the best of the news and articles that I have read over the last seven days and feel compelled to share them with you.
I read a lot. Some of the articles I read I agree with. Some I don’t agree with. Sometimes a piece makes me mad, or sad, or glad. Doesn’t matter because what’s interesting to me isn’t based on what I feel about it.
Our Weekly News Roundup is NOT a list of articles and stories to get you thinking in any certain direction – just to think. I have no agenda other than to share what I read this week. I don’t want our Weekly News Roundup to become another ‘feel good‘ piece with a hidden agenda behind it. That is why it’s on my personal blog, not one of my other websites.
Unlike thousands of other websites, I don’t feel the need to rewrite, or worse, plagiarize news from elsewhere. If I think it’s interesting and relevant to my interests, I share it in its original form in the place it was published (As far as I can tell) – by linking to it..
Weekly News Roundup #45
Weekly News Roundup #45 has just 27 links (unless I add more later) with topics from Jupiter’s great red spot to COVID-19, from Biden’s vaccine mandate to raking our leaves.
As you can see, I have a wide range of interests. From organic food fraud to the Britney Spears drama. I’m really paying close attention to the food shortages, price increases, and the supply-chain crisis.
Let me know what you think and what you found interesting over the last week. Enough talk, here are those links, Weekly News Roundup #45:
Question of the Week
In a New York Times investigation of car stops that left more than 400 unarmed people dead over the past five years, what did those police officers cite as the deadly threat?
The answer will be in next week’s Weekly News Roundup #46.
Answer to our last question of the week:
Last Week’s Question: When did Kroger begin accepting cryptocurrency as a method of purchase payment?
Answer: They didn’t. The Kroger Crypto story was fake news that even made it to their own website. [Source]
