Weekly News Roundup #46 This Week In The News Nov 14 – 20, 2021

Last updated on September 5, 2022

Weekly News Roundup #46 is a link digest of news and interesting articles I personally read from Sunday, November 14th through Saturday, November 20th, 2021. I am now curating those links for you. In other words, I took out the stuff I felt was junk and left what I thought was worthy of sharing. We call this ‘curated content‘ or curated news.

Each week in our This Week In The News series, I sort through (curate) and share the news and articles that I have read of the previous week and feel are worth sharing with you.

I read a lot. I read news and articles I agree with, that I don’t agree with, that make me think, that make me mad, sad, or happy.

This is NOT a list of content to get you thinking in any particular way or direction. I have no agenda other than to share what I read last week.

I may offer my own personal commentary on a linked article occasionally, but I try to limit that type of opinion to a minimum so as not to lead or influence others into my way of thinking. That’s just not what this section on my blog is for.

Unlike thousands of other websites, I don’t feel the need to rewrite, or worse, plagiarize news from elsewhere. If I think it’s interesting and relevant to my interests, I share it.

Weekly News Roundup #46

Weekly News Roundup #46 has 56 news and article links (I may add more later) with topics from the Rittenhouse acquittal to Biden’s stupid $1.7 trillion social spending, from Austria’s vaccine mandate and lockdowns to what you should do if you’re being carjacked, from OSHA suspending enforcement of Biden’s COVID ‘vaccine or test‘ mandate to a beginner’s guide to how cryptocurrencies work. And much more.

Let me know if you found anything interesting and what you’ve read over the last week. Enough talk, here are those articles, Weekly News Roundup #46:

Question of the Week

How was the 2020 $100 billion climate finance target spent?

The answer will be in next week’s Weekly News Roundup #47.

Answer to our last question of the week:

Last Week’s Question:  In a New York Times investigation of car stops that left more than 400 unarmed people dead over the past five years, what did those police offices cite as the deadly threat?

Answer: The vehicle was the weapon.

In about 250 of the cases, the Times found that police officers had fired into vehicles that they later claimed posed such a threat.
